Imran Shah, founder and president of the company has 10 years of experience in Investment Banking and Real Estate Development, having worked on over 50 transactions valued at over $1 billion.  Collectively, these transactions represent over 10,000 residential units and over 15 million square feet of commercial space, mainly in urban, infill locations. 

Mr. Shah was most recently Vice President of Acquisitions and Transactions at O'Neill Properties Group (OPG), one of the nation's leading brownfields redevelopers.  OPG has a 20 year history of remediating environmentally contaminated sites and has completed over $2 billion in projects with another $4 billion in the pipeline.  While at OPG,  Mr. Shah had the opportunity to work closely on several projects with the firm's founder, Brian O'Neill, one of the industry's most respected and visionary figures. 

Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Shah was an analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Wachovia Securities where he was part of the deal teams that sold the $350 million environmental services company MACTEC to private equity group Nautic Partners, and completed the $153 million sale of STCO, a defense and aerospace company to Crane Co. 

Mr. Shah is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he graduated with Honors and Distinction.
